"IN ECOLOGY, LETS CREATE A DIFFERENCE"
México, a country internationally famous for its muralistic manifestations, has left a profound mark in universal art, : from the Mesoamerican cultures that flourished along its vast territory, to the muralistic movement that came about as a result of the post-revolutionary phenomenon.
Today, once again, we shall continue the path and tradition of mural painting, and artists are urged to work incessantly creating in large format, leaving their art as at testimony of our present day social experience.
Therefore, all the visual artists, all the students interested in these manifestations, the investigators, and specialists in these subjects are invited to participate in this FOURTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN PUBLIC ART AND MURALISM, TLAXCALA 2005, that will take place from August 9-14, 2005, in the city of Tlaxcala , México, with the purpose of promoting, and helping to build new bridges and new ways of expression in creating mural painting, both in our country, and in all the countries of the world.
